Become a Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of the Jewish Museum and our committed 120-strong team helps us to run the museum; assisting with ticket sales, front of house duties, and tour guiding.

There are also opportunities for internships and work experience placements with the Learning and Marketing teams.

"I especially would like to thank your volunteers. I have never seen such knowledge, hospitality and eagerness to spend time with us and answer questions. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts."  Museum Visitor

Volunteer with our visitor services team and help our visitors discover the museum. Our volunteering programmes are designed to inspire you and to provide a rewarding experience.

We are currently recruiting volunteers for the following shifts: Thursday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday morning and afternoon. The roles are all public facing and cover Gallery Invigilation, Admissions and Retail.

No knowledge of Judaism is necessary for volunteers at the Jewish Museum and all training will be provided. An interest in museums and working with members of the public is essential.

If you are interested in applying for the roles, then please complete the form below and return it to
