Holocaust Memorial Day

'J' for Jewish stamp in German passport * Holocaust Memorial Day is marked annually on 27th January, the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

The Jewish Museum can help schools and community groups mark this important event, which both honours the memory of those who died and considers what the lessons of the Holocaust mean for us today. Past events have included conferences, study days, memorial events, exhibitions and inter-school programmes. Please contact the Education team if you would like us to help you organise an event for the next Holocaust Memorial Day. As there are many exhibitions and events occurring around the period of Holocaust Memorial Day, please contact us well in advance to discuss your plans. You may also find it helpful to look at the official Holocaust Memorial Day website.
