We offer a wide range of programmes relating to Jewish religious life, history and the experience of the Holocaust. All our programmes can be customised to meet your needs and can include a tour of the synagogue. |
The Discovering Judaism programmes focus on learning about and
from Jewish religious life. Programmes offer an in-depth study of one or more
aspects of Judaism. Learners are engaged through observation, discussion,
object handling, role-play and arts and crafts. All visits include a session
with a member of the Education Team.
In addition, the Museum specialises in providing sensitive educational programmes
on the Holocaust and the experience of refugees
from Nazism, carefully structured to engage pupils on a personal level. Most
programmes are based around an encounter with a Holocaust survivor. Programmes incorporating all aspects of Anglo-Jewish history and the experience of immigration and settlement in London’s East End can also be arranged. We can also offer programmes on the Jewish East End.
