Key stage 3
 |
 |
This page provides an overview of our teaching strategy for pupils at Key Stage 3, and a sample programme used in our ‘Discovering Judaism’ education programmes. Please contact an Education Officer to plan a customised programme for your pupils. |
Key Stage 3 pupils work closely with handling objects, exploring and discussing them. Through the discussion and handling of these objects, pupils learn key information about Judaism, as well as gaining an insight into the richness of Jewish history and culture.
Pupils are encouraged to bring their questions to the sessions, and to engage in dialogue with Museum staff, in order to raise awareness of the multiplicity of Jewish practice in Britain.
"A very well organised and friendly atmosphere, giving pupils an opportunity to
learn form personal experience of Judaism. Fascinating materials and artefacts,
brining to life pupils' work on Judaism"
Head of RE, Ousedale School, Newport Pagnell
