Comic Book Artists in Residence

The Jewish Museum London will shortly be opening an exciting new exhibition Asterix in Britain: The Life and Work of René Goscinny (10 May – 30 September 2018) showcasing the extraordinary career of the celebrated French comic writer and co-creator of Asterix. We are seeking Comic Book Artists in Residence to work in the museum space and engage with the public.

The Comic Book Artists in Residence would work in the museum for two half days per week (Tuesday and Sunday, 1-4pm), with the potential to increase this if we receive further funding. The residency will run from 5 July – 23 September 2018 and the Artists will have a dedicated space in our ground floor entrance gallery. We are seeking artists that can commit to one or more days

To apply please send a short covering letter and CV, or link to your website, to Rhiannon Jones, Public Events Programme Manager,

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis as we fill slots, we recommend that you apply by 30 March 2018 at the latest.
