Treasures of the Jewish Museum, London
The aim of the Jewish Museum, founded in 1932, is to explore Jewish life, history
and religion in Britain and beyond. Its Jewish ceremonial art collections are
among the finest in the world. The Museum also has social history displays that
bring to life the roots and experiences of Jewish people in London, in particular
the East End, the point of arrival for many immigrants. Here are just a few of
the highlights of our wonderful collections. If you would like to find out more,
we invite you to visit the Museum.
