The Museum’s education team regularly work with young people from all backgrounds and faiths.

We offer a range of informal education programmes on topics based around Jewish heritage, culture and faith. For informal groups, each programme is individually planned with group leaders and tailored to your specific needs. But for ideas, have a look at the 'Schools' section of this website.

You can choose to arrange a visit to the Museum of our education team can come to you.

Youth Groups

We regularly work with a range of youth organisations, including Jewish organisations, church groups and play schemes.

We can help you introduce your members to Jewish history, culture and faith through enjoyable creative activities,

Prices: £3 (inc VAT) per head for a half-day workshop (with a minimum charge of £50) and £6 (inc VAT) per head for a full-day workshop (with a minimum charge of £100). Teachers accompanying groups on organised workshops will not be charged for, but additional adults, eg. parents will be charged for.

Synagogue classes

We offer 2 options for synagogue heder groups.

Option 1: Groups can spend time in the museum galleries independently, using worksheets and trail sheets. To ensure enough and appropriate sheets are available for your group, please speak to an education officer in advance.

Option 2: Organised workshops can be run for your group. Possibilities depend on dates, availability of rooms and the size of your group.
