Collections Enquiries
The Jewish Museum welcomes donations for the collections, within the limits of our acquisitions policy. Objects should generally illustrate the roots and experiences of Jewish people who have settled in Britain. We collect Judaica only of a significant quality, to reflect diverse religious traditions from around the world.
We cannot always accept material offered for the collection, for instance if it is in poor condition, or duplicates an item we already have. We do not actively collect material such as books or newspapers. If we cannot accept an item, we may be able to recommend an alternative home. We may be able to answer enquiries about the origins of objects brought in to the Museum, but cannot provide valuations for members of the public.
If you have an item that you think may be of interest to the Museum, please fill out a collections enquiry form, and the Curator will follow up with you.
