What your membership supports

As a Friend of the museum you contribute essential core funds which enable us to continue our work – from our award-winning learning programmes to our exhibitions and the care and conservation of our unique collections.

Our Learning Programme

The Jewish Museum is an amazing resource for school groups. As well as inspiring a sense of discovery and creativity, our wide-ranging, cross-curricular workshops encourage students of all backgrounds and faiths to explore Jewish culture, heritage and faith as part of the wider story of Britain.

We have an extensive programme of workshops for both Primary and Secondary schools which runs across the whole of the school year.

Our Exhibitions

The museum holds a vibrant programme of special exhibitions throughout the year. Previous exhibitions include Moses, Mods and Mr Fish: The Menswear Revolution, Blood and Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait.

We also house four permanent galleries, displaying films, objects, photography and hands-on exhibits. These collections educate people of all backgrounds and faiths in British Jewish heritage, identity and culture.

Our Collections

Our world-class collections of Judaica and Jewish social history incorporate ceremonial art, prints and drawings, objects reflecting everyday home and working life, and photographic and oral history archives.
