In recognition of the outstanding importance of our collections as part of the country’s national heritage, the Jewish Museum London has been awarded Designated status by the Museums, Libraries & Archives Council. We are one of only 13 museums in London to have received this honour.

Designation identifies and celebrates preeminent collections of national and international importance in non-national institutions. The Scheme was established in 1997 to promote and increase access to world class collections that provide a lasting source of inspiration and enjoyment for generations of users.
