Discover LGBTQI+ Jewish London in this Camden walking tour led by Queer Tours of London - A Mince Through Time. The walk marks the 50th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality in England and Wales in 2017.

Hear about Jewish involvement in 'Lesbians and Gays support the Miners', 'Lesbians and Gays support the Migrants', the Black Cap campaign and other ongoing campaigns for queer spaces.

Explore the portraits of LGBTQ+ Jews on display at the museum, and discover how Jewish queers have contributed to radical social change in Camden against fascism, homophobia, racism and all forms of oppression.

Come along and explore -

  • Culture - The contributions of a diverse array of LGBTQI+ Jews to London's cultural and political life before, during and after decriminalisation.
  • Love - The realities of oppression, sex, intimacy and relationships for LGBTQI+ Jews in London.
  • Migration - The routes and impacts of LGBTQI+ migrant Jews in London.
  • Freedom - Sites of love, protest and resistance for LGBTQI+ Jews and how people can support.
  • Change - How history is informing the present - hear from some of London's most pioneering Jewish LGBTQI+ agents of change.

Ticket includes same day admission to the Jewish Museum and the exhibition Amy Winehouse: A Family Portrait.

Meeting point: Jewish Museum London (meet at the Admissions desk)

A percentage of the proceeds from this walk go to the Black Cap Campaign
