This classic tour evokes the memories of the Jewish community with its synagogues, schools and soup kitchens. The walk ends at the renovated Sandys Row Synagogue, home to a congregation established in 1854 and housed in a building built as a Huguenot chapel where your guide, Rachel Kolsky, will provide an overview of the history and recent developments.
(Please note that there is an entry fee of £4.00/£3.00 to visit Sandys Row, payable on arrival at the synagogue. If anyone does not wish to visit inside there is no obligation to do so.)
