A powerful film exploring how soccer facilitated social change in Kibera, Kenya, one of the largest slums in Africa. The film debunks stereotypes and provides a positive glimpse into an Africa that North Americans rarely see.

Against the backdrop of one of Africa's largest slums, two teens from rival tribes meet in the final game of an eight-month soccer tournament, while the threat of ethnic violence persists after Kenya's divisive national elections. The film provides a glimpse—often a very positive one—into an Africa few have seen. It attempts to break stereotypes associated with people who live in extreme poverty while depicting sports as a tool for social change, a tool that could be used to prevent violence among at-risk youth.

There will be a selection of beers, wine and a range of sweet and savoury meals and snacks available to buy each night.
