Drawing on objects from the Museum’s collection, pupils will be able to handle a yellow star, a passport, a spice box which was hidden by a Jewish family and a Kindertransport child’s suitcase. They will then use these objects as a springboard from which to further explore the plight of the Jewish people in World War II. They will also learn about Jewish life and in particular the way Jewish families in the past and present celebrate Shabbat.
