Following the success of our visit to Waddesdon last year, join us on a visit to the Rothschild Archive in St Swithin’s Lane, in the City of London. Established in 1978 to preserve the records of a family that is widely recognised for the diverse contribution it has made to the economic, political and social history of many countries throughout the world. Led by the Archivists, we will see some of the iconic documents from the collection, such as the first Rothschild family partnership agreement of 1810, the story of the London gold refinery run by the Rothschilds, and private family documents illustrating the Rothschild style, and family philanthropy.

This event is for Friends of the Jewish Museum only. To attend, please join the Friends here.
